Stamp Club

Summer is almost over and it is time to start thinking about fall, the holidays and of course creating lots of unique stamped projects that come with the fall season. I love, love, love to do Halloween and Christmas/Winter projects. Stampin' Up! has a fabulous Holiday Mini Catalog coming up that I am dying to order from. Let's just say you will be seeing a lot of Halloween and Christmas stuff starting in August. I have saved up my pennies for this order!

Okay, Stamp Club.

For those of you that have enjoyed stamping with me for this past year, I am finally getting ready to start my club. My stamp club will start in September 11 or 12 depending on member votes. We will meet once a month for 6 months, create fun projects, learn new techniques, and every one takes a turn earning hostess benefits. I provide free make & takes for you and in return you agree to purchase $25 in products every month for the 6 months. Sound interesting? Here is what I have planned for the six months:

September- You will make Birthday and Thank You Cards and a couple back to school/work or whatever gifts.

October- We will make a couple spooky treat gifts and a couple regular projects.

November- Club members pick projects.

December- All about the holidays. Holiday gifts, cards, gift bags, tags...

January- Club members pick projects

February- A couple valentine projects and a couple more essential cards for your collection.

Here are some techniques you will learn during the Stamp Club term:
  • Wet Embossing
  • Two Step Stamping
  • Using Rub-Ons
  • Stamping with Bleach (yes the house hold cleaner!)
  • Traditional Scrapbooking
  • Digital Scrapbooking (I am sooo excited about this new product)
  • 3-D projects
  • Making quick and easy gifts

Favors, Favors,Favors!

Here are some favors I did last week. The first ''for you" was a thank you favor for my class attendees. I used the Big Shot Matchbox die from Stampin' Up!. I used bashful blue DSP and CS on this and loved the fresh look of it. The stamp set I used was Great Friends. Inside are 4 choclate nuggets wrapped in DSP.

This is a possible favor that I will be using for the baptism of a family friend. She asked me to make her some samples and this is the first one. I used retired color Baja Breeze on this on ( I loved that color!). The label was made using a scallop oval punch and small oval punch and brads from SU.
Please contact me at mayramt@hotmail.com for special order requests.
