Sweet Centers Flower Bday

Good Morning!
I thought I would break off from Christmas and Halloween projects to make a birthday card. I used the Sweet Centers stamp set (available Sept. 1) to make this card. I stamped the petals, cut them out and assembled them on this plastic cup that sits in the center of the flower. So, it is a card and treat in one! This set also has a stamp for Halloween, Christmas, Valentines day and a hot air balloon stamp. I love the treat in the card idea!
More samples from this set next week, stay posted!

Delightful Decorations

Good Morning!

I finally got my holiday stamp order last week and I have been playing around with all my new stamp sets. Here is one I was really excited about: Delightful Decorations. This stamp set is available Sept. 1st and is featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I stamped the stamps on white paper using Real Red, Old Olive and Crushed Curry ink and cut them out with the new ornament punch (also available Sept. 1st and featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog). Here are the details for this card:

Ink: Real Red, Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Bashful Blue

Paper: Bashful Blue, White for ornament stamps

Stamps: Delightful Decorations (116517) and Sparkle & Shine Jumbo Wheel (116542)--used on the left side of the card

Ribbon: Ribbon Originals- Mistletoe, Hemp natural thread

Accessories: Ornament Punch (116794)

I am working on the details for my holiday class. Stay posted for details.

Princess Party, part 2

These are the party favors that I used for my daughter's princess party yesterday. We had lots of fun. All of the little girls got their hair and nails done and came dressed up in princess dresses. We even had a couple boy cousins come in king crowns and capes, so fun!

Here are some details on the party favors. The big purses were the girls goodie bags. I found the idea and directions on Kay Sha's blog. I used Stampin' Up! cardstock and super strong double sided tape for these. The flower on the front is from the 5 petal punch from SU. They were big enough to fit a few toys and a few pieces of candy. The little girls loved them.

The little purses are called Nugget Purses. I found this idea from Angie Juda's blog. These were originally going to be for the adults and then the kids wanted them too. They have one nugget bar inside. The flower on this front is also from SU.

My final touch was the personalized water bottles. I simply cut strips of white paper in 1 7/8 X 8 1/2, stamped the middle with my Princess Time set and glued them to the bottles. I think this added a nice little touch and they were super easy to make.

Halloween, already!?

It is almost time for Halloween!- kindof. At my house getting ready for halloween starts really early. In fact, we are off to a late start this year. My husband loves halloween and I must say it has grown on me too the last few years. So, I finally got my holiday stamps order...wow...I have 10 new stamp sets to play with. I made a quick card and treat box with the Free Hostess Stamp Set- Holiday Best. I really liked this stamp set because you get 4 different holiday stamps in one set. To earn this set all you have to do is host a workshop and have a total sales of $150. Plus, you get another $15 in merchandise!

Back to the Halloween Stuff... For the card and box I used basic black, old olive and rich razzleberry CS and basic black ribbon. The box was done with Box #2 die with my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.

I hope you like them. Here is a closer look:

Waiting for my Holiday Stamps

Well....I am patiently (not so much), waiting for my holiday stamp sets to arrive. I ordered a Halloween set, a few Christmas/Winter sets and a cool new set that allows you to add a plastic holder in the card, like for candy or glitter. I will be making samples and posting as soon as they get here. Check back with me later this week for some new samples!!

Princess Party

I have been busy planning my daughter's third birthday party. She is very girly and loves princesses so we decided that we wanted to have a royal ball (princess party) for her. Her are the invitations I made for her. I used the SU Princess Time stamp set . Here is what the inside looks like:

I used the standard microsoft word for most of the wording and then left room for some stamped images on top and the word "princess". I added some glam to these with some jewel 3-d stickers.
I hope you like them. My daughter loved them, she is so excited about her party.
