May Stamp Club Projects

Hello!

Last night I had my monthly EG Stamp Club. We had lots of fun chatting, stamping and making 5 super cute projects. Here is a look at them. The t-shirt card was made oragami style (folding paper). It was so easy! The bird card is a double slider card. Also pretty simple with a quick demonstration by me. More details on these projects and step by step instructions next week.

Today was my sister in law's baby shower. We had a great turnout and she received lots of nice gifts. We had a great day. Here are some of the items I made for her shower. Above is the favor that I made using the Nursery Necessities stamp set (it matched her invitations).
Above is one of the diaper cakes I made for centerpieces. Around the diaper cake I scattered wrapped nugget bars with cardstock stamped with the matching Nursery Necessities stamps.
Above you can see that I even stamped matching labels for the water bottles and glued them on. A bit much?! I love everything to match....even the water bottles;)Lastly, above are the runner up favors that I created. I made lots of baby shower favors before I decided on the candles. These two came in close in 2nd place. I especially love the Thanks chocolate box. The colors I used for these projects were Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip.
Enjoy your Sunday night!

Crazy for Cupcakes

Good Afternoon!

A few weeks ago I was prepping for a workshop and wanted to make a card that was cute, easy to make and that used only one stamp set. This was my creation. I used the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set and added some Dazzling Diamonds (SU glitter) to jazz it up a bit. I really like the way it turned out. Here are instructions on how to make this card.
  1. Stamp the greeting and cupcakes with black StazOn ink.
  2. Apply glue on cupcake tops with 2-Way Glue pen and add Dazzling Diamonds.
  3. Color in the cupcakes with SU markers.
  4. Stamp balloons on the card with Bashful Blue marker or ink pad.
  5. Stamp streamers on the accent paper (So Saffron) with So Saffron marker or ink pad.
  6. Add accent Real Red piece on So Saffron paper.
  7. Stamp stramers on the bottom of card with Bashful Blue marker or ink pad.
  8. Punch scallop edge on the So Saffron piece and glue to cupcakes piece.
  9. Glue the accent piece on the card with your snail and glue the completed cupcakes piece with dimensionals.

Want to try it? Here is what you need:

  • Crazy for Cupcakes Stamp Set
  • Bashful Blue Cardstock
  • So Saffron Cardstock
  • Whisper White Cardstock

Mother's Day

Good Morning,

I hope you all had a nice Mother's Day. I had a great weekend. Saturday I was able to do things for me (nails and shopping) and Sunday it was all about celebrating our moms. My mom seemed to really enjoy her day, so I was happy too.

Here one of my Mother's Day cards that I made for a couple people. Can you tell I love this Vintage Vogue set? This one says "Happy Birthday", but I changed the greeting for my mom cards. Here is another one that I did (my favorite last year, updated with new colors):

Have a great Tuesday!

Tropical Paradise

I love, love my new Tropical Party stamp set. When I first seen this set I was trying to think of an occassion to throw a party just so I could make cute invitations and favors with this set. I am still brainstorming! Maybe I will do a 'just because' summer barbque. YES, that is how much I love stamps, I revolve functions around them!

Here is a card that I did with this set. I cased it from Patti Chesky, but added my own personal touches. The recipe is below:
Paper: Bermuda Bay CS, Old Olive CS, Dusty Durango CS, Whisper White CS
Stamps: Tropical Party
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Bermuda Bay, Versamark, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry
Accessories: Big Shot Perfect Details Texturz Plate die, rhinestone brad, dimensionals, scallop circle punch, sponge dauber
Have a great sunny afternoon!

My Digital Studio Video

Hello Everyone!

I have a couple stamping projects to share with you later today. However, for now I wanted to show you a video on My Digital Studio. As you know, Stampin' Up! has a program where you can do digital scrapbooking. As much as I enjoy traditional scrapbooking, I have found that with My Digital Studio (MDS), I can get through more projects, easier, and faster. Best of all it looks great! In addition to scrapbooking I have created a newsletter, flyers, calendars and even a blog header with MDS. You can also create cards and invitations.

Many of you have asked me about this program and are interested in seeing how it works. Here is a short (2 min) video that gives you a brief overview of the program. Click here to see the video. Please contact me if you have any question.

Have a great day!

Summer Mini Catalog!!

I can finally show you the Summer Mini Catalog. I have been waiting anxiously to show it to you. I think this is the best mini catalog yet! Some of my favorite things are the single graduation stamp (less than $9), the Tropical Party set, the Bouquet Bunches set (less than $11 for clear mount), and the School Days set. I can't wait to make a School Days memory book for my girls with this set! --even though they are not in school, it is too cute to resist! Then there are the builder wheels that make stamping super simple. I can go on for days. Take a look for yourself- click here.

There is also a new Scrapbooking Promotion. Free designer brads with the purchase of My Digital Studio or select stamp sets. Click on the link to the left for more details.

Want to earn free stuff from the Summer Mini? Host a workshop. Contact me for details. I only have a few opening for May and June, so contact me as soon as possible.

Stay tuned all week for samples from the mini!
