Hello!
Three days this week.....yes, it's a miracle. LOL I hope to keep this trend up through the holidays and keep bringing you more project ideas. As always, send me your comments. I love to hear what you think.
Okay, on to the project of the day. I hope you love this DSP (Spice Cake) and colors, because I DO! These colors are so me! I created this project (or should I say CASED) for my stamp club last month. I had just gotten a new toy - the Color Spritzer and loved the way it looked on this card. I think the color spritzer adds a little warmth to the Very Vanilla card. Since that night I have been using it on every other project I make. If you have never used the Color Spritzer, it is really easy to use. All you do is add your favorite Stampin' Marker and use the pump to blow air onto the marker to create the splattered look. Simple!
Here is the recipe for this card:
Ink: Choclate Chip, Pool Party, More Mustard
Stamps: Gently Falling, Hand-Penned Holidays
Paper: Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Spice Cake DSP
Accessories: Ribbon Lace Punch, Pool Party Ribbon, Twine, Pearls, Color Spritzer

It's time for Fall Project #2. This project I made for a card swap that I participate in. The theme for the swap this month was Technique. So I tried really hard to think of a technique that I could use that was new and fun. I picked the Paper Rosette technique because I seen this card on one of my favorite bloggers Dostamping.typepad.com's site. I also thought it was very cleaver how she used the Medallion stamp in the background and the rosette as the accent piece.
Here is the recipe:
Ink: Soft Suede, Pool Party (sponged on the medallion)
Stamps: Medallion, Hand-Penned Holidays
Paper: Pool Party, Soft Suede, Spice Cake DSP
Accessories: In Color Brads, Color Spritzer
Have a great night! Come back tommorrow for one more fall project.

Fall Project #1
Hello!
I don't know how you feel, but my year is just FLYING by! I really wish I had more hours in the day to make my time stretch farther. Well, this week I thought I would feature fall/thanksgiving style cards. I just love the fall colors and make lots of Gratitude cards around this time of the year. I think it is my second busiest time of the year for card making. So, stay tuned this week for a few samples.
Sample number 1: This was a simple card we made at my last Stamp a Stack. This is the kind of card I can make batches of and feel good about the way it looks. I cased this card from one of my favorite bloggers (can't remember who).
Here is the recipe:
Ink: Early Expresso, Pumkin Pie, More Mustard, Crumb Cake
Paper: Crumb Cake, Spice Cake DSP, Very Vanilla, Early Expresso
Stamps: Days of Gratitude, Thank You Kindly
Accessories: 1/4 choclate chip ribbon, Crumb Cake taffetta ribbon
I hope you enjoyed todays Simple and Sweet project. Stay tuned this week for more fall projects.
Mayra
