Christmas Projects

Earlier in the year I tried to post blogs from my phone and they looked horrible. Now I have a new phone and decided to try it again...and it works! Taking pictures and posting with my phone is ten times easier than the traditional way. I hope to bring you more project ideas, more often with this new app.

On to the projects, first I have some Christmas favors that I made for a class I taught today. I used the Big Shot's Fancy Favor die to make the bag and the Pines & Poinsettias stamp set to embellish it.

The second project was Christmas Cards using Bright Hopes stamp set. I needed to make a quick 25 cards do decided to do a simple design. I did all of these in 1 1/2 hours!! To add a little extra touches I used a rhinestone as the star, a little dazzling details for some sparkle and embossed the card with the Big Shot and the Petals a Plenty embossing folder.

Here is a quick tip for mass producing cards. Do them assembly style. What I mean is cut all the pieces first, them stamp all the pieces, then glue everything together. Doing all the steps in this type of style seems to save me time, instead of doing one complete card at a time.

Come back on Monday to see STAMPIN UP'S THANKSGIVING WEEK ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA SALE! Some items will only be available for 24 hours so make sure you check my website www.mayramt.stampinup.net or this blog for details early Monday.
