Happy Easter

Hello!

Today I am featuring another Easter project using the Simply Scrappin' Spring Fever kit.  I love the colors in this kit.  With the kit I was able to make 6 12x12 scrapbook pages, 8 cards, and still have lots of embellishments left over!  It's endless...lol!  This was another card I made using the DSP from the kit.

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Delightful Dozen, Mixed Bunch

Ink: Melon Mambo

Paper: Daffodil Delight, Simply Scrappin’ Spring Fever DSP, Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade

Accessories: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Modern Label Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Dotted Ribbon Melon Mambo

Enjoy!

Clean and Simple Onesie

Sometimes my favorite cards are the clean and simple kind.  In the past I would never use a white card base or use whisper white as a primary color.   Now, I love the look of a clean card.  Here is my latest Clean and Simple card.  This onesie is not a stamp, but a wheel "Baby Tees" that I wheeled and cut the onesie from. Wheels are very versitale and can be used as a border or you can stamp/wheel them and cut out certain images.  You can buy a specific color cartridge for it, or if you plan to use them for small spaces or to cut out you can use it on a regular ink pad.

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Baby Tees Wheel, Little Additions
Ink: Basic Black or Stazon; Markers: Pumkin Pie, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Early Expresso
Paper: Pumkin Pie, Whisper White, Early Expresso, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Island Indigo Baker's Twine, Mini Clothespins

Enjoy!

Forever & Always

I can't get enough of the Everyday Enchantment DSP paper from the 2012 SAB catalog! I have to fight back the urge to use it with every project these days.  This card was cased from a friend of mine, who cased it from someone else.  Somewhere down the road the original designer was lost.  If this is yours, let me know and I will credit you.  I just loved the simplicity and colors!

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Loving Thoughts, Apothecary Art
Ink: Pool Party, Early Expresso, Lucky Limeade
Paper: Lucky Limeade, Everyday Enchantment DSP, Very Vanilla, Pool Party
Accessories: Framelits-Labels, Pearls, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch

Manly Party This Way

I often get asked by my Modesto Stamp Club friends to create more "manly" cards.  Well, this one is for you!  I struggle with manly cards because it means I can't use any of my favorite items- ribbon, glitter, flower stamps...  However, as I was blog surfing I ran accross this card on Mary Fish's blog.  She used different (but similar) colors and I loved it.  Here is my version of it.

Recipe:
Ink: Pumkin Pie, Basic Black
Paper: Whisper White, Pumkin Pie, Not Quite Navy, Basic Black, Regals DSP
Stamps: Party This Way (Free with SAB until March 30)
Accessories: Glimmer Brad, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch, Word Window Punch

Have a great night!

Big Top - Soaring Birthday

Hello,
I created this card for my nephew today. I used the Big Top DSP, the Send Me Soaring and Delightful Dozen stamp sets and lots of bright colors. I hope he likes it!
Have a great day!

Everyday Enchantment Card Set

One of the reasons I became a SU demonstrator was because I had a friend (now my upline) that always made and gave the most beautiful handstamped gifts.  Before I joined she gave me a little box filled with 3x3 mini cards.  I loved it!  I have been searching ever since for the template on how to recreate it.  I never found it, but used the little box (from 5 years ago!) to figure out the measurements.  Here it is!- with the new Everyday Enchantment DSP that as you know I LOVE!

If you want to make it here is the recipe and instructions.

To Make Box:

Use 8x11 sheet of cardstock
·        On long side, score at: ½”, 4 “ , 5 ¾” , 9 ¼ “

·        On short side, score at: 1, 2 ¾ “ , 6 ¼ “
For best results, use sticky tape to glue box together.
