Cheers- Reverse Masking Style

Hello!

This card was part of another technique challenge hosted by my Luv 2 Stamp group leader, Patty Bennett. This months technique was reverse masking. To make a reverse mask you punch or cut out a shape like in the picture below and sponge color inside.

Here is the card I created with this technique. I used the Decorative Label punch to make the reverse mask, sponged in with Daffodil Delight, and then stamped inside with a Happy Hour stamp. The rest of the card is embellished with Island Indigo CS, Real Red CS and twitterpated DSP.

Three Reasons To Smile

Good Morning!

This month Stampin' Up! has a special promotion called "Reason to Smile".  If you spend $50 in SU products, you can purchase this exclusive stamp set for only $5.

Here are a few samples I made with this stamp set.  These were all designed to be quick and easy to make.

Enjoy the day!  I will be stamping all morning with a friend.  I hope you can have a little stamping time too!

Blooming with Kindness

When I seen this flower stamp set un the new catalog I knew I had to have it. I live stamps that are so pretty they don't require too many other details. As I am preparing for my stamp club on Friday I am trying to make an extra card with a different design for each one we will be using. So, here is a stamp set we will be using at club. I'll show the club card with this set next week :)

For this card I used Daffodil Delight and some Early Expresso ribbon (retired) on Whisper White cardstock . Although it is a simple card, I think using the Framelits Labels gave it a little extra touch.

I hope you like it!

Happy Stamping!

Happy Hour

I got a few more new goodies today from the new Stampin' Up! 2012 Catalog.  Here is one of the new stamp sets I order: Happy Hour.  I love the possibilities that I can do with this set.  I am picturing masculine cards, invitations, bridal showers invitations or a simple Happy Birthday.

I kept this one simple, but some days I really like simple but fun cards. Here is what I used:

Stamps: Happy Hour
Ink: Real Red, Tempting Turqouise, Daffodil Delight
Paper: Floral District DSP, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, and Real Red
Accessories: Brights Glimmer Brads, Decorative Label Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch

Have a happy day!
