Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 10
Merry Christmas! Well... I made it to Day 10, almost to 12! Here is our 2012 family Christmas card. The inside opens up to our fall family photo. I wanted to do a hands stamped card with a photo so this fun fold card was the perfect one.
I hope you had a great family day!

Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 9
Hi Everyone!
Here is a quick post of my last stamp club projects. Most of them I've shown except for the one that says " a very merry Christmas to you". The stamp and punch are part of the apothecary framelits dies and the card opens up to the stamped image in the inside. It was inspired by a swap I received at convention.
Have a great day!

Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 8
Well, I'm not in track with my days but here is another project. I cased this ginger bread house card from my friend Myong. This was my version of it.
Enjoy your day!

Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 7
Here are quick and easy ways to dress up you envelopes and gifts. This holiday season I have embossed my envelopes with my Big Shot. I have loved the way this looks. I think it adds a little extra to the cards, don't you?!
Second picture is of my quick way to dress up a gift box. The box was already nice on its own and probably intended to be given just like that. HOWEVER, being the crafter I am I decided to add a little extra to it with some designer paper and ribbon. NOW it is ready to give away!

Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 6
Hello!
Well, I'm not sure if I have been on track with the days, but I hope you have enjoyed seeing WAY more projects than I normally post. I have! I CASED this from several people, I can't remember who the original person was or if I even seen the original one....but I loved it! It's a card and a holder. On the outside it looks like a coffee cup and on the inside you can add a little coffee treat (I added Starbucks Vias) or a gift card! If you have coffee lovers in your life I think this one is great.
Let me know what you think. Here is the inside:

Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 5
Here is another quick and easy gift box. I took the Stampin Up Kraft boxes, added a little DSP and a handstamped card and it is ready to fill. I have just the right amount of treats to fill it. It's going to be my version of an adult goodie box.
Have a great Monday!

Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 4
Happy Saturday!
Here is an easy gift project you can make quickly and in large amounts. It's called a sour cream container (I think!). I used a 4.5x6 piece of DSP, put sticky strip to make a cylindar in the long side. Then, I pinched the top, added a strip of sticky tape to close it. Then pinched the opposite angle on the bottom and closed it with sticky strip. I am not sure if that makes sense, but try it with scratch paper and you'll see it's easy. Tip: make sure you use sticky tape and not snail. Snail is not strong enough for rounded or 3-d projects.
The inside is filled with 8 hershey kisses. I think I am going to take my leftover DSP from the Festival of Prints paper stack and make a bunch of these for coworkers and school staff. The stamps are from the hostess set Mixed Medley, but you can substitute it with any festive stamp.
Enjoy!

Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 3
Hello!
It's day 3! This one is a direct case from the Holiday Catalog, page 9. I used Frosty Friends for the stamp and colored in the image with some Stampin' Markers. I added some extras like embossing and a border for extra texture. One trick I used on this card was the rounded edge of the whisper white. I just used a plate to trace and cut the round edge as curvy as I wanted. No tools, just some tracing!
I hope you are enjoying the ideas.

Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 1
So today is 12/12/12 and something big is supposed to happen, right?! Well, I am not sure if I believe in that, but I thought it would be fun to do something in honor of 12/12/12 and I came up with my very first: Twelve Days of Christmas. So for 12 days I will post some sort of Christmas project for you on this blog. What do you think?! May of my favorite blogs do things like this so I thought I would try it this year. So for those who have not finished your Christmas projects, I hope to spark a little creativity in you to create fun Christmas projects.
Here is my Day 1 project. I took the Festival of Prints DSP Stack and cut strips of DSP in 1/2 wide strips and cut different sizes to form a tree. I also rounded the corners. You can round corners with a corner rounder punch (retired) or a circle punch (just put in your corner from the top, one sheet at a time). If you don't have a star punch, do it the old fashion way by tracing a star (you can find one in clip art in word or MDS) and cut it out :) This was super easy to do and with the right stamp it finished off my quick and easy card.
I hope you liked it!

Peace on Earth
This is one of the cards we made at last nights stamp club. The white embossed card really matched up well with the dark and sparkly snowflake. It was really simple to make.
Have a great Saturday!
